Initially developed for large commercial floor-care products and systems such as central vacuums, large canister vacuum cleaners, and scrubbers, AMETEK offers a family of brushless blower/vacuum motors for a range of applications, where series universal vacuum motors or induction motors are currently used, including product and material handling as a couple of examples.
- Bypass
AMETEK brushless peripheral and tangential discharge bypass motors are used where separation of working air from ventilating air is required and where life requirements exceed that of brush models. A variety of UL recognized models are available in one, two and three stages in 5.7", 7.2” and 9” diameters, depending on the bypass design. Low voltage DC models available along with line voltage models of 100-240 volts.
